Summit is a day-long gathering for people involved with and committed to making Massachusetts’s cities healthier and more vibrant by having quality green spaces in all of our urban neighborhoods. The parks, gardens, and greenways in our cities are key ingredients for public health, food security, energy conservation, community development, recreation, youth development, summer jobs, and more.

Summit participants will glean relevant information, helpful connections, and the inspiration necessary to advance quality urban green spaces in their neighborhoods.

A planning team from nonprofits and agencies across Massachusetts created this Summit to be an inspiring, learning opportunity that demonstrates how investments in urban parks, gardens, greenways ARE investments that advance environmental quality, economic prosperity, and social justice.
